VA Streamlines Loans Will Save You Money

Posted by admin | va refinance, va streamline | Monday 23 January 2012 11:41 am

Veterans get a break with a new program that allows them to get rid of that VA Hybrid ARM and get a new fixed rate loan on their property. This will get rid of that climbing monthly payment when the interest rates start going back up. By using the VA Streamlines program you can refinance your loan to get a fixed rate even if it is at a slightly higher rate than you now have with the ARM. You can do this right now while the interest rates are still low.

For those Veterans that bought their property when the interest rates were high, they can refinance to get a lower rate. Since they already have a fixed rate loan, this program is set up to allow them to take advantage of the falling interest rates. Even a slightly lower rate can save you quite a bit of money on your monthly payments, so this is a really good deal.

It is times like this when it really pays to be a veteran. The VA is allowing you to refinance to get a lower rate and you can do this without any out of pocket closing costs. You should contact a VA Streamlines lender to see what benefits you can get from this program.

The VA Streamlines Loan I Read About Online

Posted by admin | va refinance, va streamline | Wednesday 11 January 2012 3:29 pm

Every second Thursday of the month, I find myself at Seattle international Airport. The reason for this is I now work for a management consulting company based out of Chicago. We do a lot of work in the Pacific Northwest and I am there often.  Before this, I served in the United States Marines. While I was at the airport last Thursday, I had two hours to fill before my flight. I took this time to go on my laptop and look at some VA Streamlines loan websites. I wanted to see the criteria used in conjunction with this loan.

After reading through some of the websites, I learned a good deal of information about this loan and the benefits. One of the things that sounded encouraging was that there was not any need to disclose my income or assets. I also was encouraged by the notion of “No out of pocket expense”. I learned that they rolled these expenses into the loan itself. Many of the websites mentioned there was no need for a new appraisal.  After reading all of the positive benefits, I decided that I was going to apply for one of these loans once I returned home.

My Husband and I Are Close To Meeting Our Goals

Posted by admin | va refinance, va streamline | Monday 19 December 2011 2:56 pm

My husband served in the military for several years. Five years ago when he left the military we took advantage of the VA loan program and bought our first house. We didn’t have much money but with the great rates and a 30 year mortgage we were able to make home ownership affordable. Now we are in a much better financial position and we have decided that we would like to have our house paid off before our kids go to college. My dad suggested that we look into VA refinance with Low VA Rates. He told us that we could easily refinance for a shorter loan term and we would save a ton of money on interest over the life of the loan.

My husband did some research and talked to a VA loan program that he trusted. He was thrilled when he found out that interest rates were at all time lows, especially for 10 and 15 year mortgages. We talked to a loan officer and he assured us that we would easily qualify for a VA refinance with Low VA Rates. The loan process was simple and in a few weeks we had a new loan. My husband and I are thrilled that we are on track to meet our goals.

Veterans who are looking to lower the interest rates on their current mortgage can benefit by seeking assistance from the va refinance IRRRL. Since this program is strictly for veterans, you must have a VA loan in order to be eligible for help. The va refinance IRRRL, or Interest Rate Reduction Refinance Loan, takes your current loan and restructures it with a streamlined loan designed to lower the monthly payments you are making. Unlike the long initial VA loan process you had to endure, this program does not make you re-qualify in order to receive help.

With the va refinance IRRRL help you’ll be able to roll any closing fees and costs into the new mortgage. This can be a big help if you are on a tight budget. The whole process is relatively fast since the paperwork required to refinance is minimal and does not require you to re-qualify all over again. The new loan can even accommodate up to $6,000 in energy efficient improvements, if you so desire. Since any lender can handle the refinance procedure for you, why not take advantage of a company who specializes in helping the men and women who have served, or are serving, our country?

Preparing for Deployment the Right Way

Posted by admin | military | Thursday 4 August 2011 5:06 pm

Are you and your family currently getting ready to part with a loved one because they are soon going to be deployed? If you are, then you likely have a lot of thoughts and emotions and concerns going through your head right now. However, there are quite a few things you can do to start preparing for deployment, and they include educating yourself and your family and adjusting your routines. Be sure to go over legal and financial details before the family member is deployed, and try to find out as much as possible about where they are going and the length of time they’ll be there.

When you start preparing for deployment it’s important to figure out how you will communicate with your loved one. Some choose to keep in touch through email, while others like to talk on the phone. Be sure to agree on how often you will speak with one another, and see if you can communicate every day or if it will be less frequent than that. If it’s longer, you need to know just how long it should take to get responses. If you are going to be home by yourself when your loved one is gone, be sure you have a specific plan with goals to work towards to keep yourself occupied.

What are circumstances that can speed up the wait period after a Short Sale or Foreclosure?

Posted by admin | bankruptcy, foreclosure, short sale | Wednesday 6 July 2011 12:56 pm

I get this question asked almost every day for folks that call in trying to get a loan to buy a home.  The answer of course is “depends”.  I wanted to spend some time explaining the different reasons why the “wait period” can speed up in certain circumstance.  If you have a well-documented extenuating circumstance and you have established good credit again, the lender may grant an exception to you to purchase a home again within 24 months of Short Sale or Foreclosure.  Extenuating circumstances can be a death, serious illness, death of a wage earner, or even divorce.  Job transfer or financial hardship do not qualify someone for a special circumstance.  Although most people don’t qualify under the special circumstance category, I have been able to help quite a few folks within this two year period.  They had their situation well documented and the lender was able to approve their loan.  Most people who have had a short sale or foreclosure had to move on because of financial hardship.  Maybe they lost a job, job transfer and could not carry two homes, or their income decreased, etc.  80% of the folks we deal with at homeforeclosurecenter.com are in this category.  They have to wait 3 years after their Short Sale or Foreclosure to get a new purchase loan.  The key if you are in this category is to prepare so that you are ready to buy again once your wait period ends.  Here at HomeForeclosureCenter.com, we prepare folks to buy a home again.   We have a proven system to make sure your loan gets approval as soon as possible after your Short Sale or Foreclosure.  We make sure you have all your documents ready so they back up your financial hardship story to the lender.  At the end, what we are really doing is telling your story to the lender backed up with the proper documentation.

The discounts my son was looking for online

Posted by admin | Uncategorized | Tuesday 28 June 2011 10:24 am

My son John and I had the chance to catch up with one another the past few days. My son has been in the Marine Corps for the past six years and he was thinking of getting out. He has seen some time overseas and in some unpleasant circumstances. Because of this he is thinking about making some changes. We talked about this as we spent some time fishing on Lytle creek. We use to go fishing all of the time on this creek and have had good luck in the past. We also talked some of the military discounts he was looking for these days.

One of the military discounts my son wants to try and find are for the parts he was going to be buying for his car. My son has always been pretty particular about his car and what he buys for it when it comes to parts. He told me about a website that he had found online that directs him to all of the businesses in the area that will offer him discounts for his service. We then talked about the engine improvements that he has wanted to make to his car. Essentially he wants a bigger engine.

Why Go With a VA Streamline With Bad Credit?

Posted by admin | Uncategorized | Tuesday 24 May 2011 12:56 pm

One of the nice things about getting a va streanline with bad credit is that income and asset documentation isn’t required. There is no need for an appraisal. It does not matter if the price of the residence as dropped during the recession With most refinance programs including loan modifications, there will be income and asset documentation requirements. That can be very difficult for most people since they have suffered drops in both income and asset values during the recession. Self-employed people are under much higher scrutiny even if they have high income. Because of all of these things, going with a VA Streamline loan is much better for those who are lucky enough to be eligible.

Without the normal documentation required in getting a mortgage or refinance, it also makes the process of getting approval much quicker. The income and assets of the borrower will not cause a denial. Even bad credit won’t cause a denial. The major thing that is required is to make 12 months worth of mortgage payments on time prior to applying for the va streanline with bad credit. If eligible, the borrower will find that the interest rate and monthly payments will be cheaper, thus providing much needed relief for the borrower.
